Ghanaian heavyweight rappers, Medikal and Teephlow, have engaged in what looks like the start of the next big beef in Ghana’s music industry in a long while. They both engaged in a back and forth banter through posts on Twitter and took swipes at each other to prove their point at all costs for everyone to see.
This started when Medikal tried to give some advice to up and coming rappers about how they can ‘blow’ by urging them not to focus on trying to impress anyone or trying to be competitive.
This advice however did not go down well with Teephlow who recorded a video and posted on twitter. In the video, he sent his own advice to the upcoming rappers to rather focus on growing their own style instead of allowing rappers with “nyaa vibes” to advise them to do otherwise.
Medikal replied to Teephlow video which later turned into a war of words between them.
This caused Medikal to unfollow Teephlow and asked Teephlow to do same by unfollowing him back.
The ‘beef’ continued further when Medikal asked Teephlow to learn from Kofi Kinaata, his boss who had come to agreement with what his fans wanted and was seving it to them. The Omo Ada hitmaker further more jabbed Teephlow by saying he has become irrelevant after they both featured on Sarkodie’s Trumpet only for him to appear back and to look to be hit hard.
